Sega World Sydney is Australia's first indoor family theme park. Featuring over 200 games - 100 of which are on freeplay, 9 rides, live entertainment and a bustling food court - Sega World offers something for everyone.

Spanning over 10,000sqm the Sega World experience is enhanced by specially designed theming, audio visual facilities and elements of player participation and interactivity on all rides.

Sega World was officially launched on Tuesday 18 March, 1997 by the Hon Michael Knight, Minister responsible for The Sydney Olympic Games and for Darling Harbour.

The park has created over 300 full and part-time jobs with a strong focus on service and hospitality.

Functions, Birthday Parties, Tour Groups, Social Clubs and Corporate Challenges are only a few of the groups and events which take advantage of the wide array of activities that make Sega World a unique and diverse entertainment destination.

Buses
Catch the 888 from Sega World, it is a loop service that starts at Circular Quay and stops at Sega World every 10 minutes. The Sydney Explorer stops at Sega World as part of its circuit.

Train
Sega World is a three minute walk from Town Hall station down Bathurst Street. Exiting from the Town Hall ticket gates, walk through Town Hall Arcade to Bathurst Street and keep walking to the Sega World building on Harbour Street.

Monorail
Catch the monorail to either the World Square station or Darling Park station. From World Square walk down Liverpool Street to Harbour Street and from Darling Park walk along the water's edge towards the Panasonic IMAX Theatre and underneath the Western Distributor Freeway to Sega World.
